Birth Date
More than any other factor, age determines the cost of life insurance. Insurance companies calculate age based on your nearest birthday. Therefore, to receive an accurate quote, enter your complete date of birth.
For example, if you turned 34 seven months ago, most companies consider your “insurance age” to be 35, since more than six months have passed since your last birthday. Your insurance age will remain 35 until six months past your 35th birthday. If you are close to an insurance age change, call an Insurance Central Licensed Representative right away to learn options for “saving” age and perhaps saving on premiums.
The younger and healthier you are, the lower your premiums will be, but many premiums for all ages have gone down significantly in recent years as average life expectancy has increased. |
